How Hedda handles information when you visit hedda.ai, contact us or request a demo.
1. Who is responsible?
Hedda AB, Sweden, is the controller of the personal information described in this notice. You can contact us about privacy or exercise your rights at hej@hedda.ai. Our data protection officer is Maximillian Claesson. You can contact him at max@hedda.ai.
This notice covers our public website and enquiries from prospective business customers. It does not replace the agreements and data processing terms that apply when an organisation uses the Hedda product or uploads project documents. Contact us if you need those terms.
2. Information we collect
Demo and contact enquiries: the name, company, work email address, phone number and other information you provide, together with our correspondence. The current demo form requires a name, company, email address and phone number. Providing these details is voluntary, but the form cannot be submitted without its required fields. You can contact us by email instead.
Website use: technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as your IP address, browser and device information, requested pages and request times. We also receive website usage statistics from Framer, our website provider.
Cookie choices: your acceptance or rejection of optional advertising tracking, the notice version and the time when that choice expires, stored in your browser. Optional advertising information is described below.
Business context: where relevant to an enquiry, we may supplement the information you give us with publicly available professional information, such as your role and employer from your company website or LinkedIn.
3. Why we use it
We use enquiry and correspondence information to respond, arrange demonstrations and follow up on your business’s interest in Hedda. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in communicating with business contacts and providing relevant information about our services.
We use technical information to operate, secure and improve the website and investigate abuse. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in providing a reliable and secure website. We consider your rights and reasonable expectations when relying on legitimate interests.
Optional advertising tracking relies on your consent. Refusing or withdrawing it does not prevent you from viewing the website or requesting a demo. A demo request is not, by itself, consent to optional tracking or a subscription to a newsletter.
Where we must retain or disclose information to meet an applicable legal requirement, we rely on that legal obligation.
4. Cookies and your choices
Cookies and similar technologies can store information on your device. Our cookie controls let you accept or reject optional advertising tracking. You can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings on this website. Closing the banner or continuing to browse does not count as consent.
Remembering your choice: Hedda uses the local-storage entry hedda_marketing_consent_v1. It records your choice in this browser for 180 days. Once expired, it is removed when the website reads it again and you are asked to choose again. This storage is needed to respect your preference and is not shared with an advertiser. Clearing browser data removes it sooner; choices are specific to the browser and device you use.
Website statistics: Framer’s built-in analytics use no analytics cookies or persistent visitor identifiers. Framer processes request information to provide aggregate statistics, including page views, referral sources and country. Framer states that its analytics do not retain the underlying IP address.
5. Optional Meta advertising
Meta advertising tracking is not currently active on this website. The following explains the optional tracking we are preparing. We will update this notice and the cookie details before it is activated, and only load it with the required consent.
The Meta Pixel can share page visits and successful demo-request events, together with technical information such as IP address, browser information and advertising identifiers, with Meta Platforms Ireland Limited. The purpose is to measure which ads lead to enquiries and improve the relevance of our advertising on Meta services, including Facebook and Instagram.
Meta may combine this information with information it already holds, including information associated with a Meta account, for measurement and personalised advertising. The exact cookies, their durations and the events enabled on this site will be listed before tracking is switched on.
You can reject optional tracking through our cookie controls. Withdrawal stops future consent-based tracking on this website; it does not undo processing that lawfully took place before withdrawal. For information held by Meta, its privacy and cookie policies explain its uses, retention, international transfers and available rights.
6. Who receives information?
Relevant Hedda staff use enquiry information to respond to you. We use service providers for website hosting and form delivery, business email, cloud storage and business administration. Framer hosts this website and processes its native demo form. Providers acting on our behalf process information under the applicable service and data processing terms.
We may also disclose information to professional advisers or public authorities when necessary to comply with the law, resolve a dispute or protect legitimate rights. Optional disclosure to Meta is described above.
7. International processing
Website and communication providers may process information outside Sweden, including outside the European Economic Area or the UK. Website enquiries should therefore not be assumed to remain exclusively in Sweden.
For example, Framer’s data processing addendum provides for international transfers using applicable adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses, with a UK addendum where required. You can contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your information and how to obtain a copy. Meta explains its own international processing in its privacy policy.
8. How long we keep information
We keep enquiry and correspondence information for as long as it is needed to handle your request and relevant business follow-up. The period depends on whether discussions are ongoing, whether there is a customer relationship, the time since our last meaningful contact, and any legal or dispute-related reason to retain a record. Information that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymised.
A limited record of an objection or withdrawal may be retained where necessary to respect that choice. Cookie-choice storage lasts for the period described above. Contact us if you would like information about retention for a particular enquiry or would like us to consider a deletion request.
9. Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal conditions, you can request access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction of use or a portable copy. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and object to direct marketing at any time.
Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. For website advertising, use Cookie settings; for other requests, email hej@hedda.ai. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity before responding. We normally respond within one month, and will explain any lawful extension or limitation.
You can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), or to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) where UK data protection law applies. You may also contact the supervisory authority in your country where applicable.
10. Changes to this notice
We update this notice when our website or data use changes. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Where a change requires new information or fresh consent, we will provide it before starting that use. For questions, contact hej@hedda.ai.
